Weibke thanks so much for the link on another thread for the cage from Zooplus.

I ordered one on the weekend and it made it here today from Germany so made very good time.

I am about to kit it out and give the foster pigs somewhere to run about later as last night both were popcorning and trying to dart about but didn't have much room in the temporary cage.

It's longer than my 7 year old! They are going to love it once they settle in.

Glad that your cage that to you ok and in one piece!
When things like that are coming to me I'm a wreck worrying it will come in 100 little pieces or something lol :))

longer then your 7 year old! sounds like a monster! You have some lucky piggys!

x

She is a petit 7 year old. :) It's 4 ft long but for some reason it seems way longer than that.

You know I ordered a HUGE mirror a while back and it was being made to our specification and design. When it arrived it was smashed into a million pieces (well maybe not that many but still alot).

I was devastated. So I do worry about that but thankfully it's all in one piece.

And the box - my 2 girls (children not guinea pigs lol) are using the box it came in as a boat - photos of that to come later too. It's a great toy!

so you have happy pigs and kids all in one! that's pretty impressive lol!
Which cage did you get? I've just been having a look on the site now :))

guuh sorry to hear about your mirror :(
did you get a replacement sent or could you not do anything about it with it being damaged in posting?
x

Here is a pic of my cage; hopefully that helps with putting it together as there is no description. You should have two little black corner pieces to stbilise the bottom of the back grilles. And two green clips for the sides, and two cream clips for the front grilles.

Sorry about your mirror! I had a lovely one that got damaged when I moved house.

Hubby put it together for me without instructions and all the clips are the same colour on ours :{. I just looked at them and went "hoooonnnnnnney - come do this for me" :(|) Not really my thing putting stuff together like that.

They are in there now and hiding, maybe they will stretch their legs later.

As for the mirror the seller made the same one for me again but in three smaller parts that hang side by side to make up the full design. It's not as nice but it's pretty cool. Was the worst smashed thing ever. I did get a guinea litter tray from ebay that arrived smashed and when I got a replacement they had popped a small roll of love hearts in with the replacement - isn't that nice :)

It was from Zooplus and is 120 long and £37.99 at the moment. A bargain! (free delivery).

Lisa, I hope your piggies settle in nicely and really enjoy their new home.

Weibke, is that the Ferplast 120? We have that cage for our boys but ours has a red base. x

I think it's a different brand to that (is the Ferplast the rabbit 120 one?).

Yes it is the rabbit one, its just that photo looks absolutely identical!

How are your girls settling(can't spell that, is that right?) in to it now? Hope they're doing well and that your big girls have had a nice adventure on their "boat".
