What size cage will I need if I had a guinea pig on his own?

And what size would I need for 2 or 3 sows on their own?

Or 4 all together?

You either need 2 boars together for company
or 2-3 sows together for company
please don’t put an unneutered boar with sows or you will be overrun with babies, and possibly risk complications and you could loose piggies
See the link below
Cages And Hutch Guide

Please see the above link from Bill and Ted for the minimum recommended cage sizes. Where possible please go bigger than the sizes listed, your piggies will thank you for it.
Also it is highly not recommended to have one pig alone and the size requirements for a solo pig and a pair are exactly the same so you would definitely be better off with a pair

I have removed your post about play pen sizes as this will be answered in this thread. The size recommendations are based on living space so playpens need to be as big as or bigger than their living space

My Male is fixed but it might mean that I have to have him separate from any other guinea pigs as he barbers other guinea pigs really bad to the point where there skin is exposed and one of my guinea pigs lost her life because of it, it just a cause of deciding what to do for them so they are all happy and content.

So you are saying that one guinea pig and a pair of guinea pigs require the same amount of space then what is this then in grids and in square feet please?

I guess you could place his cage against the ladies cage so he can interact through the cage bars but not barber too deeply x

Thank you, that's kind of what I'm trying to work out what to do as I have only got a 140 X 6th divided in half, no way near the right amount of room for them. But my female may need some friends for her to play with were he might never be able to go in with her.

Even trying to work out play pen sizes just in case have to have that separate as well? I don't know what to do for the best.

I just want them to be happy.

If you see the cage size guide that is linked above in the first reply then that will give you the answers in both cm and grids
