My car needs alot of money spending on it which I need to save for so I've been stuck in the house over xmas which has driven me crazy. My daughter & I have been trying to do something creative everyday to keep us occupied. At xmas she was given HUNDREDS of beads with letters on them so we decided to put them to good use!
I had heard of phone & bag charms so why not cage charms!?

I have had to make sure that they can;t get to them from inside the cage. Sylvie is like a Magpie & tried to get to hers & Spuds as soon as she saw it. The wire is quite strong & I've kept sharp edges to a minimum just in case! They've been made so that the individual names come off incase I have a swap round of cages mates.

I'd probably say 'really sad' for someone of my age actually spending the time doing it!

hell no its not sad, theyre amazing...you could make a fortune from them!
ill def buy some off you ;)

I would like to buy one Hilary :-)

but I am not sure if its possible, because the three names of my piggies are all five letters long..

I mean, in your case you had the long Margalo at the top, and ending with a very short "sue", but with three names each as long as the other?

let me know if you could, and if so, how much would they cost?

Blimey I wasn't expecting this response!

The wire I used is galvenised garden wire & the beads are plastic & some glass so I guess that they would be ok outside.
Postage wouldn;t be more than a 1st class stamp & if they bent you can just bend them back.
I did my sisters boars one which was a rectangle with twists at each corner & a coat hanger shaped hanger from the top. In the triangular space I put a dangling spiral with a few random glass beads - more masculine than a heart!

I'll price a few up - proceeds will have to go towards a new bead kit for my daughter!

That's a cool idea, and they're really delicate, good for people that don't have room for a plaque. We have guinea pig keyrings hanging on clover's cage =)

let us know prices I'd love some on my cages with my piggy names

they are real cool
