I've noticed over the last couple of days that both of my piggies - 13 week old Sweep and 5 week old Fudge who are in separate cages due to Sweep having mange, have started biting the metal bars of their cages. Sweep does it in the corner where he climbs out when the top is folded back and Fudge does it anywhere. When Sweep climbs out he goes to Fudges cage and they stand either side and bite the bars together with a little nose kissing thrown in. Is this normal? Sweep is doing it right now. I fed him his treats 10 minutes ago and he has plenty of food in his bowl

Yes, it is normal from guinea pigs that have been separated and want to be back together.
