So basically, the cage I have at the moment is a store bought cage which is just smaller than a 2x3 c&c cage, last year we added a loft which takes up just less than half of the cage because my mum wasn't fond of the idea of a bigger cage and with much persuasion she let me add a loft, buy them some beds and begin housing them on blankets. She is finally letting me get a bigger cage. The cage I can get has the dimensions of 118(L) x 79(H) x 58(W), it isn't too much bigger but there is a second storey and there is potential for me to still add my loft meaning there would be three floors. I am very aware that my two boars should have far more room but my mum isn't as understanding and thinks they're fine therefore this is the best I can do and I am trying to make their living space as comfortable as possible.
I am excited at the idea of expanding even further but the only cage I have found with these dimensions is a medium blue colour which my mum refuses to let me buy. The cage goes in my bedroom which is nearly all white with grey. My current cage has a grey base and so she does not want anything other than that.
I would be incredibly appreciative if any one has ideas on how to cover the blue base or even knows of a cage which is around the same dimensions that has a more subtle base colour (Definity not a C&C cage though.) If it helps, the website says it is made of PP.
