Hi
We have seven male guinea pigs who are in the process of getting a new cage. We are building and c&c cage in our conservatory for the colder months. They are currently all outside in a large hutch with attached runs. My question is about what to put in the base of the c&c cage. There is so much conflicting information I would like to know what people have found works best for them. We have polar fleece which has been washed and dried multiple times and is now wicking moisture. Therefore my question is what works best underneath it. I have read people use furniture moving blankets and newspaper but then also read newspaper is not that great so would love to know what others have found works best for them before I spend a fortune on all different kinds of products
