Hi I really need some advice about housing a lone guinea pig. I need pictures and links of cages that you would recomend for a bedroom that has limited space.

The guinea pig is on her own because after numerous attempts she does not get along with other piggies :.... I am thinking of adopting her so that she can live with my daughter Megs in her bedroom but space is limited. Megs is really experienced at looking after pigs and misses our other lone pig Jacob who died post op neutering. Megan had got him really tame when he died and misses this closeness to a guinea pig.

I think this would be good for Megan because she is really suffering with her epilepsy at the moment and this would be good thereapy for her to have her own pig, as all the other pigs belong to me :o, she is very good at helping me out and feeds all the pigs when i am on long days at work.

Megan is 14 years old

So if anyone could come up with a solution or ideas that would help me to help Megan and re home a needy pig then please help.

Many thanks xx

I might have posted this in the wrong section sorry if I have xx

Maybe you could make a C&C cage ? I suggest this as they can really be made into any shape/size you need/have available. I made one to fit a specific area of my bedroom. If space is an issue you could always make it 2 tier linked by a ramp ?
Have a look in the housing section - there are lots of photos of peoples cages in there and C&C ones and maybe you will get some inspiration.

One pig won't need a massive cage have a look on zoo plus they have some decent 4 ft cages, as long as she comes out to run around and maybe see other pigs she will be fine.
