have the Cubes dissappeared form our shelves at a sensible price? the ones ive found are online only and £50 for 14 mallethead

The Screwfix ones look nicer & if you order them they come in within 2 days. I am still waiting for the B & Q ones I paid for nearly 3 weeks ago :( I may get another pack of the Screwfix ones instead now. You get 17 grids & 20 connectors from Screwfix :)

Hi thanks for posting this link. I want to make one for my piggies for winter to come inside - do you know exactly how many cubes you get for that price?

Hopefully I just answered your question lol! Enough to make a 2 x 8 without a base :))

I got 16 grids from Screwfix :) which made a great home for my two boys.

They came so quickly, and I could track the order to make sure I was home when they arrives.

They are mesh, so if you want to put a waterbottle through you just have to use some scissors to make a little space in the right place.

I got cableties just to double up for extra security and they only cost £2 :)

I've got 17 in my pack? rolleyes Yes get their cable ties too, they are only £1.70 or something for 100 ties :))

I hang the bottle on the inside have put a clip around the bottle (type plumbers use) then used some chain to attach the clip & hooked it on the top of the grid. But yes, you could easily just nip out a little bit of mesh for the spout.

Thanks for that - I was just wondering about the waterbottle. :(|)

I was already looking into getting a few of these - I contacted the buyer and they will send 5 cubes with p&p at £10. If you need more than 5 then you need to contact them to work out how much p&p will cost.

That's a good buy, plus they are silver, I find the B & Q ones a bit dark (being black) :)

I might order those & get a refund on my B & Q ones lol

Just bought 15 grids - can't wait to start making my run!

Yes I did, I will let you know what they are like but I have never had them before so I don't know how good the usual ones are. I'll also let you know how long they take to come.

I ordered the ones from B&Q 3 weeks ago,i have phoned them this morning to see if they know when they will be in and they have said either tomorrow or Tuesday.I hope they are right as i cant wait to get started on the new cage, has any one else been told a date for when they would be due in and if so where they?

B & Q. C & C grids.

Forget B & Q for the C & C grids....I ordered 2 boxes on 8th August and have been given forward dates since then, and still not had any in stock. They come from China and B & Q claim they cannot contact the company to find out when they will be in. This is at the Trafford store in Manchester. I would forget B & Q and get them from somewhere else.

Mine have still not arrived :( Okay so it has not been that long - but apparently the weather in October is going to be pretty bad (according to weather reports) and I really wanted to get started!
