Hello Everyone!

So I have two boys and two girls kept in separate cages. The girls at this point in time are in a store bought cage that measures to 3x1 C&C, I know it's not too bad but I want the best for my girls and so I am planning to buy more Grids to create a C&C tower cage but before I do.... I plan to have a 1 square gap between the two cages so it will be 3 high.

Q1. opinions on how they worked are they not too bad to clean?
Q2. Did it work for you?
Q3. Do you have girls on the bottom and boys on top?
Q4. Any problems having boys and girls that close but not together? E.g boys fighting?

Any other Information would be really appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Q1. I can clean mine out fine. It's a 2x7 on top of a 2x7. My boyfriend does say it hurts his back reaching into the bottom though and you might need a step to stand on to get into the top corners if you're quite short

Q2. I love mine and have had it about 7 or 8 years. I've extended it from 2x5 upto 2x7. It was originally 2 cages on the bottom and 2 on the top but I opened both up into one singles cage on each level. I only have 2 pigs now so use the bottom for storage.

I can't answer the other questions unfortunately as I've only ever had boars.

I had mine like it with a square in the middle so it was 3 high, I found it fine to clean, separate sets of piggies were quite happy, I just found bottom layer a little dark so I had a little bedside lamp next to it to brighten up abit .

Put the boys on the bottom. When the girls are in heat, they may try to climb out their cage. If they're on the bottom, they can't climb into the girls' cage. If they are on the top, they could climb out their cage, drop to the floor, and climb into the girls' cage (if the fall doesn't kill them).
