C&C - The Countdown

After having successfully done the following:

1. Convinced my boyfriend that the boys need a bigger cage than they're in at present.
2. Having bought shelves for his xbox games that currently reside in the spot I want to put the cage i.e the floor
3. Buying cable tidies/trunks to put all the cables of the various electronic items near the space
4. Advising that maybe that isn't the best place for his guitar
5. And that the cage will not get in the way of walking back and forth from the sofa to the kitchen in the new spot
6. Getting up in the middle of the night to place the grids in the spot to make sure they fit ok (couldn't sleep for thinking about it lol)

I hopefully should have a new cage for the guineas at the end of this month!
I'm very excited about building their new home and have already started collecting bits and pieces to go in the new space. Will post pictures of my progress here. V excited!:laluot_03:
 
Ooo the C&C countdown always feels like it takes forever, took me months before i actually had mine and made about a billion plans of how i wanted it to look how much it would cost and how the room would have to change around haha got there in the end.
Can't wait to see the final product !
 
Lol, thanks :)

I had posted on another rather aggressive US forum that plainly told me, "If you have enough room for a bed, then you have enough room for a C&C cage" before proceeding to tell me that I should get rid of my bf's double bed in order to put a set of bunk beds in to accomodate the cage. I'm glad the approach at TGPF is more encouraging and less scary lol.
 
Wow is that forum run by the military ! :') oh dear. Big dreamers, I'm sure none of them would get rid of there bed for a cage !

That's awesome Cat, I bought a roll from teacrate - it's residing in the back seat of my cat at the mo but I'll give you a shout. I haven't measured anything out yet.

It's just the clear stuff that you can get in B&Q.
 
My cage liner lady has just confirmed to me that my cage liners are ready to sew! So excited. My little ikea bed has just arrived too as well as my finacard for their feeding area.

Can't wait to get started but unfortunately have decided that maybe the flat needs a big clean before we start work on the cage. :0
