Pigson and teddy have a huge indoor cage, Treacle and Fudge have the minimum, they could both do with the same. I am thinking of staking C & C cages, but, would the top full size cage be strong enough filled with aubiose and two adult boars?

I'm afraid it's my poor DIY skill that stops me expanding my C&C - but there are some really good ideas on that thread.

Whatever you build, please bear in mind ease of cleaning and ease of catching your piggies.

My C&C is only 2 grids wide and has a 2x1 loft. I noticed the loft base was bowing a bit so I have bought some loft supports from Grendle.

It cannot be any worse than what the set up is at the moment. I have access to a couple of very accomplished DIY people, I usually have the ideas, they do the practical stuff

The wooden batton method is very easy. I just got 4 lengths of wood slightly longer than the run & slid them thrpugh one end then out the other end. I put a correx base on this as normal.

I used wooden batons attached to small hook brackets like these:

and then used a slightly larger piece of light chipboard to support the loft.

I think what I will do is just raise the large indoor hutch on breezeblocks, build a frame to accommodate the c&c above it, it will have to have a baton base, but it will work out cheaper than the stackable combination.

There's always supports that can be bought and placed along the top probably need 4 or 5 dependent on size, I use one for my loft :) but your idea sounds good! :)
