I have not been on here for a long as have been suffering with depression, I am still on medication but feeling much better and am starting on my c&c plans
Out of my 14 pigs I managed to group together 10 of them into 2 groups of 5 a castrated boar with 4 girls, each boar had 2 girls but I managed to introduce my 2 girl pairs with each boar group making 5
I have my correx sheets just looking to order my grids which I am having trouble sourcing, is there anywhere in UK that still sells these?
I aim tomake a 2 tiered with roof
So would a 2x7 be ok or would it be best for a 3x7
For my other pigs 2 pairs of boys I'm thinking 2x4 as they get on very well, each pair currently have a 120cm cage so a 2x4 would be bigger, or would it be best for them to have 2x5 each

Many thanks

The more space you can give, the better, but a 2x7 will do.

You can source C&C grids on Amazon or ebay (google "cube wire storage" ).
There is now also a UK specialist provider of readymade C&C cage sets: http://www.guineapigcagesstore.com/

I hope that you will feel better soon!

Another consideration if you have got the space is whether you want to create a kind of flexible, multipurpose "commons" space in between the cages that you then can time share between your different groups according to their needs.

Mine time share the run of the living room throughout the day. It is accessible from most cages; I just clamp another grid in front of a "door grid" to close the access. Roaming times can be thus adjusted to what is going in the groups (like strong seasons or hierarchy disputes). My three neutered boars haven't got a problem with the concept.
