I put a loft on my girls cage and Holly ran straight up the ramp on Tuesday and hasn't come down since. There is carpet on there for grip and I've lifted the bottom so it's not steep. She has a hidey, water and food up there. I've tried a trail of veg leading down the ramp. I'm wondering if a tunnel would work but there are so few around and they are so expensive. Is there an easy way to make one?

I do have one from my boys hutch that they don't use so I wondered if I could wash it with detergent and vinegar and use that one?

I had to put a tunnel in for mine as I have one older larger guinea who refused to use the ramp. She now uses the tunnel and is up and down all the time. It is corrugated and I think this helps her.

I've washed the boys old one in vinegar so I'll cut it to make it shorter, re-stitch it and try it on there.

You could always use a lap/ pee pad and fold it over the tunnel and Velcro it underneath if you have any the right size x

Thanks, I don't have a lap pad or anything, just cut and popped the tunnel on that I had so we'll see how they go. Their fleecy cuddle sacks came too so they have lots to explore. I do need to rearrange to tidy it up though lol.

Fingers crossed. I might also find a flat stone or something and try to raise it up a bit more. I've done it on some card at the moment but a stone might be higher.
