Hi everyone,

I am in the process of creating a C & C for my piggies as I know that they can be altered/adjusted/expanded :D at any time :D

At the moment they have a two tier 4x2 cage for two. However, my partner and I are hoping to expand our Guinea Pig family after Christmas :D

Anyway, I have been searching for products all week and have found something. I was just wondering if this would work and or if anyone had any advise? It would be much appreciated! :)

This is the link:

It is an interlocking shoe organiser that I have found on amazon. White grids with connectors. It looks like the C & C piggie cage stuff but I would like an experts opinion before I buy :) Please let me know your thoughts :)

This is the title just oin case: 'INTERLOCKING SHOE ORGANIZER SHOE STORAGE RACK for 16 PAIRS'

I think those grids are a lot smaller than standard grids but I am no expert so wait for somebody else :):))

from what i've heard on here, most people say they are too small and a few people sent them back after buying as they aren't the best for C&C cage's, i was close to buying them at one point but decided against it.

I think there are a few problems with these, they are the wrong shape apparently, they are too small, and as they are solid plastic you cant pop a water bottle through or hang a hay rack.

HTH

Once I have these though. How do I purchase or even make the ground sheet?

Kym - we had those at first. They come as a pack with two panel sizes - one is about 18x18cm and the other about 36x18cm. They do the job is you are making a single level cage (put 2 18cm grids on top of each other and you have the size of one proper c&c grid). However multi level they are too weak.

I upgraded to the c&c cubes that 4piggiepigs posted (purchased from their store on amazon though) and they are a big improvement (just that much more expensive) as I wanted to build a 2 tier cage and needed stronger grids.

Hope this helps

you need correx i got mine from the one stop plastic shop, if you phone or email them they do bigger sheets and they do lots of colours i just got blue but its pointless as i cover them with liners
