ive been looking at c+c panels over here for a large enclosure i wish to make (for quarantine piggys/pregnant piggys that come in,) which can be easily broken down and stored away when not needed, but so far I'm not finding any cheap panels!
ive had a quick look on ebay.be and ebay.uk but the prices seem extremely high! (then of course the postage on top of that)

so I'm really curious now as to where you guys buy yours from, and how much for how many? also how many packs/panels for a decent sized enclosure?
also what does a pack roughly weigh? none of the ebay sellers have answered my messages over this........!

I'm just wondering if it works out cheaper to ask someone in the uk to get me some and post them over..or find a different alternative? i was thinking of buying one of those metal folding 'rabbit runs' but i think baby piggys will squeeze through the bars....?

I'm probably no use at all, as I'm in New Zealand. But they are hard to come by here and ridiculously expensive! $40 just for 17. When I was younger I got a set of 23 or 24 for $30. And when I say $40 that's at its cheapest. It ranges up to $90 which is even more ridiculous. I've got a place to stock them but they won't tell me how much they are going to charge so I'll have to go and find out.

thats the kind of prices I'm facing here, not good...€40 for a pack of 5 i saw somewhere..nearly died! think they werent the right ones though as they were huge!
i think the cheapest ive seen was €35 a pack but thats no good if i need 2 or three packs? not sure how many i need.....?

I think most people get these packs of grids in the UK either from ebay or costco. They have a mix of grid and mesh squares.

Costco sell them for under £10 a pack but you have to pay for a membership card- so only worth it it you or someone you know is already a member.
I paid about £14 a pack on ebay and this seems about average.
The link I've added gives you the details you want and they post to Belgium but this does bump the price up obviously. Hope this helps. :)

hey flips thanks for the link. could anyone tell me how many grids they needed for there cage?
ouch just seen the postage there. £30 per pack. think I'm gonna have to give up and come up with something else!

I have an open topped 4 x 3 with a 1 x 3 hayloft and used 2 packs of grids.

I would think you could make a similar frame out of wood and chicken wire in the same way you would make a run. You could still sit a correx box inside it. Would work out a lot cheaper for you. Good luck. :)

it would work out cheaper but not something i can easily dismantle and store away when not needed :) thats my problem. it needs to be something simple that can be pulled out and set up quickly(ish)

i checked out a couple of ebays one quoted as saying that they weight 15lbs hth i got mine delivered but for the life of me cant find the company i got them from now as i have forgotton the name of them!

lol took me so long to type that and look up about the weight flips found the people i bought mine from :(|) shame they are so hard to get hold of for you they are excellent!

Got mine from Costco. 4 packs cost me £42.15. If you can afford to get a few packs then maybe it IS worthwhile buying fro Kreshay Impex. I know its a £30 postage cost but at least its a one-off. Most sellers on ebay are charging on average £8 for a single box so, thinking about it, if you're getting a few at once then the postage is average cost.
