Well I am soon to be bonding my 9 (:x) girly pigs, 4 down, 5 to go :(|)

So I am going to be making a 15ft by 3ft c&c cage for them, now my problem is I am a paranoid piggy mum, the correx will only be 2 inches high on the sides.

I am a very big stress head and have visions of them getting their heads stuck through the cubes, in my defence some are just babiesinbreeding

What could I put on the cubes to put my mind at rest + prevent any accidents.

All idea's welcome no matter how wacky or wild they are xoxo

You can put strips of cardboard between the correx and the grids. 10" sides are recommended for babies.

If you have enough correx, you can used them too.

Or you could overlap the grids.

Thank you both, 2 fab idea's!x>>

Maybe I could use some mesh or chicken wire or something similar to that, or If I have lots of spare time I guess I could place fabric over each grid :)

any other idea's?

i put cardboard in front of the gaps or i used pieces of wood only about 4 inches high i found it was the bottoms ones thay she got out of. and he stuck his head through, he **** tries but it doesnt fit anymore!

Knowing some of mine i think they might eat foil. But they'd eat the cardboard too, or wood. And my chunky will put anything in her mouth. lol. Sorry i havent much idea's except when i had very young babies out in the outside run i stuck cardboard around the edge to stop anyone escaping.

x.

15 ft ! Wow! Piggie heaven! That's as big as some of my rooms lol! :)

I must admit I was browsing around the other day & found a site where someone's baby pig died after getting caught in a C & C cage so it would worry me too unless you can adapt it a bit with babies in mind.
