After ages searching on the internet and thinking about getting the grids from Ebay (a bit pricey!) I dropped into B & Q on the very slim offchance they would have some. I'd previously checked online for stock in my local B & Q's (plus all those local to friends and family scattered across the UK!) and always found 'out of stock'. However, I found some! There was one box left and I nearly let out a triumphant YAY when I saw it. 23 grids for £22.98 - bargain. Better get building now! So chuffed. Anyway, just thought I'd let everyone know it is worth popping in if you're struggling to find some as they might have some hiding away....

I keep having a look every time I go into B&Q, on the off chance there may be some... can you remember which part of the store they were in? The general storage bit just seems to be full of plastic boxes, and there's nothing even a bit similar to grids. not sure if I'm looking in the right place!

I've been in today and they kept going on about it being a special order item (which is why I don't think you can buy online now).

Unfortunately after 3 attempts to order their system wasn't having any of it and they said they would call me when it was back up and running.

Well.... after a wasted lunchbreak and 7 hours later I'm still waiting for them to ring me back!

They were with the shelving stuff, right next to a pine storage cube and those shelf brackets you fit to the wall.

I can't believe it's so hard to find these things! I recently went to Wickes with their catalogue, pointed to the cubes, he typed in the product number in his computer thing and they never appeared, he said they didn't exist, even though there is a picture and description in the catalogue!

YOU NEED THESE ONES

They are metal and beautiful colours - ive ordered them and have them here with me now and they are FAB

£10 plus postage

I am sick to death of searching for these things. Finally found two packs in stock in a B&Q near where my parents live, & practically begged my dad to go and pick them up... he said yes, which was nice :)

I'm going to go to http://www.stockline-plastics.co.uk/ for the correx after it was mentioned here - they're just up the road from me!

I am rather excited about finally getting a proper C&C cage :))

Can I ask is the correx/coroplast safe if the piggies chew it? I thought plastic would be dangerous for them if they eat it?!
