I have thought long and hard about buying C&C cages and after talking to my dad about whether he would allow me, he has said yes.

Because of this, I am wondering where I can buy C&C grids. I heard they were sold in B&Q but later learned they had stopped selling them?

I could possibly buy them from ebay but I'd rather buy them from a shop.

So my question is, where can I buy these? What shop would sell them? I really don't know where to start.

Its not listing them for me on Amazon.

You type in C&C grids, right?

These are some on amazon, there are a few more which lead on from them that come in bigger packs/ different colours.

I don't really know actual shops you could get them from though.

Thank you.

What are the differences between those two linked? They look the same but one is £20 more.:o

I went into B & Q & ordered mine, have one lot already but am needing some more to start my big project lol :)) You need to go to a B & Q Warehouse though.

Can the white ones be used for guinea pigs?

Yes they are the same as far as I can tell, both the black & white C & C grids have a plastic coating on them, usually black but have seen some in white as well. The black cubes for £27.99 on Amazon will make a 2 x 4 cage big enough for 2 piggies, but will not have enough for a lid, so if you have a dog or cat etc you will need to make a lid unless you can keep them in a separate room safely, or make a lid from something else. :)

With the white ones you would have enough to also make a lid.

I only have four guinea pigs. No cats or dogs. :)

I may have to buy two packs then so I can put my younger boars on top in their own C&C cage =)

It's best not to house more than 2 boars together anyway. See if you can order them in a B & Q store, if you can't then you will only need 2 packs of the black ones to make a 2 storey 4 x 2, & keep 2 in the bottom cage & 2 in the top cage.

i'm getting really annoyed because none of the B&Qs near me have any! grr

Oh I know that. I don't want to put them IN with my other two. I want to bild the cage on top of the others. I see people on here do it a lot with their C&C and I thought it was a cool idea.

I think I'll get two of the black ones then and wait until my money goes through on paypal if I can't find any in my local B&Q. Let's hope I can. :)

I ordered a second lot recently, they said they come in within 28 days we shall see rolleyes

Will update on here should they come in :)

Awesome. Hope you get them. =)

Me too, there are 23 grids in the B & Q boxes, btw :)

You could use 10 grids to make the bottom cage, then use some wooden batons through the squares to support another 4 x 2 cage above, that way you would only need one box from B & Q rolleyes

Oh thats a fantastic idea. I'll definitely have to try and get the B&Q ones then.

I got mine from my local Netto about a month ago, they were in the 'ocasional offers' section.
