My 2 pigs currently live in a 2x4 c&c cage which is an upgrade from the person I rescued them from who had them in an "all living things cage" ( 24 x 46 in). But I am aware that a 2x4 is the minimum size for 2 guinea pigs so I wanted to expand their cage. The problem is the amount of c&c grids I need would be around 40$, + 30$ coroplast + at least 30$ fleece bedding/liner which I could pay for but I'm looking for a cheaper option for the c&c grids, does anyone know of cheaper places to get them than Amazon?

I think from your other post that your piggies are female. If so, then a 2x4 is considered the recommended size, not minimum.
The minimum for two girls is 120x60cm (48x24 inches is minimum) whereas a 2x4 c&c measures 150x70cm (usually if you have the 14 inch grids), so as you can see you are already providing more than enough room! Of course it is still nice for you to expand their cage but don’t feel you aren’t providing more than enough space already!
