I've just read a post on an Australian site regarding toxic paints in new sized c&c which are coming from China & mainly in yellow or green but in white too:-

The one on the left is the standard square grid & is OK but the middle & right ones are the ones that gave poisoned piggies who chewed them. For the original post check out:-

 
Thank you for the warning Stewybus, I just saw this on Facebook. Thankfully we have the old grids, and only have 1 chewer (Barney) and we are switching the grids he can get to to mesh at the weekend.
 
Gosh that is terrible, my experience of all things from china have been poor when both specified and manufactured by China specification. They can't even 'earth' electrical equipment correctly! Health & safety just isn't in the mind set.

Everything is made there, hardly any British engineering any more. Things made in China are poor.
