A friend searching for C&C cages came across this link that doesn't connect to any of the normal searches, so I thought I post it here for those interested:

Wow the price of that is a bit excessive! :o The original idea of C&C cages was that they were cheap and cheerful, it's sad to see people trying to profit from it.

I thought it was expensive, too. But if you share a cage between two or three people? It's a pity that C&C grids have gone out of stock mostly.

I would have a look on ebay as I have seen this seller on there when I was looking for a run in january and it was much cheaper but then if demand has been high it might explain the higher price

we have ordered ours from B&Q at 23quid for bout 20 grids might be less not sure and then we saw a thread on here to say Netto is doing more or less the exact same thing for 14.99 gutted x

If anyone is looking for grids in or near Glasgow I know that Wickes have 5 boxes in at the moment (I think you get 16 grids for £15). I ordered mine from B&Q Darnley but they took 3 weeks to get here but if you are willing to wait that long they are well worth it.

I'm having the same problem. I always recommend c&c to people but the places I tell them to get the grids from no longer have them. None of the local wickes or b &q have them. Can't find any on ebay anymore other than 1 seller who doesn't get stock until August. What is a Netto? I've not heared of them.

They are like an Aldi - a cheap food chain of shops that has special offers in weekly, there are 2 in my town.

B&Q can get the grids in for you if you order them instore, take in the item number http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav.j...ubes&fh_eds=ß&fh_refview=search&isSearch=true These are the black ones and look really nice, there are either 23 or 24 grids in a box plus the connectors (more grids than in the Wickes brand) and I think they take about 3 weeks.
:)

I ordered my grids from B&Q a month ago and paid for them and have heard nothing, i know this is also the case with other members on the forum so just beware if you want to go down this route. Most Netto's have sold out now, i grabbed the last box in my local store over a week ago x

Wickes don't seem to have them in stock either, is there any Ebay sellars, selling them?

They are great you can even make runs out of them to, aswell as cages.

Netto may still have them..24 for £14.99 and really nice too.

Thanks for the info about b & q. I'll pass it on to new owners. It's so difficult finding these for sale now. I don't think we have any netto shops this way :(

£38.75 doesn't seem too bad looking at some of the prices with postage ontop. The prices will go up when there aren't hardly any around. God knows why they're so hard to come by when they're so popular. You'd think the people who make them would keep up with demands.
