Hello, I'm building a new C&c cage in a month or so and I'm looking at fleece liners and I'd like a liner which covers the correx, I've seen them on hammocky hammocks but I don't think they are making anything anymore. Any ideas?

I've attached a page from hammocky hammocks to give you an idea of what I want

I have read that people put those plastic slide on things to stop gpigs eating the correx.

Cant remember what they are called!

Ahh thanks guys, my piggies actually never ate correx when I had it before it's just for looks :p guess I'll just get normal fleece liners

If you can sew in roughly a straigh(ish!) line then you cold make your own.
I have seen a couple of YouTube videos on how to make your own liners with sides.

I don't have a sewing machine unfortunately. I enquiries with ziggy piggies and they are about double the price of regular liners so I'll have to just get regular ones

I never thought to cover the sides. Looks very smart. I'm going to sew my own liners soon so might give it a try :) The babies do chew the correx so it would be good to protect it until they grow up and stop being a pain!

I've made my own, will be using them for the first time today

Lovely, have you got sides on yours to cover the correx? I'd love to make my own but I don't have a sewing machine and I reckon I'd be pretty useless at it.

What's correx ? So no I guess x
Ahh are you putting a liner into a store bought cage? Piggies love fleece! You'll see your piggies popcorning on it when you put it in

Correx is a plastic material used in C&c cages to make like a bottom for it.

Oh good :) what did you use for your absorbent layer?

An old towel in the small pads x I did fleece, towel, fleece. Really thick and awkward to sew. Have youu seen my photo?

I hand sewed my cage liners cos my sewing machine couldnt cope with three layers of fabric.

I love zorb as a middle but it is expensive (used mainly for pads under hidies)

Mattress protectors make a good middle layer. I used a double layer for some and a single layer for others. My two rarely wee outside their hay trays luckily.

Washable incontinance pads were too bulky but did absorb well.

I love the pretty fleece patterns that you can get.

That's good :) I've built my cage now and for the time being I just got some cheap fleece from home bargains and then just using puppy pads underneath until I decided whether to buy liners with the sides. The piggies are loving it :)
