Well my cage for my pregnant pig is finished. After talking with oh he said we couldn't afford to loose as much storage space as I would have liked so we agreed to house her in the small section of our under stairs room. So she now has a 5x2 grid cage. The good thing with the smaller end of the room is that its enclosed on all sides but 1 which should make her feel more secure as she isn't even used to seeing us humans let alone living with us. It is a strange room as its very long but really thin at one end. She seems to be getting on fine and sat munching hay the minute I put her in. She ran and hid when I took this pic bless her. (excuse the pipes)
Its very empty at the minute as I need to buy her new things for it.
Now my question is how many towel layers should be under the fleece when using puppy pads as well. Also where can I get fleece long enough for a five grid cage that allows me to took it round the correx? Ive bought some but its not long enough so I'm using two which I imagine wont be good with little pigs as they will probably crawl under the join.
