C&C Correx Base Advice Pls...

Hello,

I would like some advice please.
I've been building a 2x4 c&c cage & most of it is finished. What is the best thing to put down onto the correx first? (towels, then fleece liner on top? Or do I need a better under layer?)
I do also want to protect the correx base as much as I can... Would sticking vinyl floor tiles onto the base be a good idea?

I would really appreciate any advice. I'm currently buying better fleece cage liners, with zorb, & pee pads to help with the piggies piddling in the corners!

a lot of people use puppy pads under fleece.
I personally don’t see the need to put vinyl tiles down on top of correx, correx is its own thing for that purpose if you see what I mean.

I use puppy pads they protect the corex from stains.
