C & C Cages

Ok this question has probably been asked before but i have had a good look around, and cant seem to find it so here goes: the c & c cages can you make them with lids on? as i have two cats that wouldnt leave my pigs alone!!
Is there anyone on here that could help me deisgn a cage? I'm useless at anything like this have had a look at some of yours and there all amazing!
 
you can, you can tie the grids over the top of them as well, although you would need to design at least one on a catch style so that it creates a door
 
thankyou what are the grids called? so i can have a search online see where i can find them x
 
You can use metal closet shelves to make the lid. Some people even use the closet shelves for the whole cage when they can't find grids.

Oh thankyou I may have to go to jtf today didn't no they sold them and could I put a roof on with them ones aswell? Also how many will I need to make a nice sized one for two piggies. X
 
A 2x4 for sows 2x5 better for boars but really what space do you have because bigger is better, i made a hay loft too but thats because i use fleece bedding or now i have a 2x5 level with a 2x4 and a 2x1 correx tray in (2x1 being the kitchen)

How many grids you need depends on what design you want and where your putting it if you want it raised or if its going on the table or floor etc

This is my cage now top 2 levels for piggies and bottom for rabbit

Well i did it! i went with the JTF idea and got some pink even though its for two boys! my bedroom is decorated in pink hehe so it matches very nicely i will get my kids sorted and get some photos up :) thankyou all xx>>
