Does anyone know where I could buy really good C&C grids? Ones that aren't too expensive, but are really good value for money.

Also, how many grids would I need to make a decent sized cage for two piggies?

Thanks :) x

B&Q have grids but you have to go in store to order them and delivery takes 3-4 weeks. They are well worth the wait though.

You get 23 grids in a box for £23ish so really cheap. I have made a 3x4 cage with a 1x3 hayloft. This measures approx 150cm x 110cm so around 17 sq ft (obviously not including the hayloft). I keep 2 pigs in here but there is easily enough room for 3/4 I think. A 2x4 c+c cage for 2 pigs is ample! I just had the room to make mine quite big.

suzy it's definitely worth a trip to your local b&q if you can easily, i had a look online to order some and they were out of stock in every store i checked according to the website, then i decided to go one night in case i was lucky and they had plenty in stock, so you never know, i think it's just the website that's useless! x

LOL! I wish it was that easy.

Sadly the stores around here are grim, I've lost count of the times I've been in for something, assumed B&Q would be THE place to get them - only to leave empty handed. As the nearest big store is 25 miles away it gets rather irritating. I much prefer the internet.

Yeh, they aren't in stock anywhere but they are advertised on their website so they do still have them. I just took a copy of the product code number in and went to the building section of a large B&Q store and they placed an order for me. It took 3 weeks and they phoned me when they were delivered to the store. I can't fault the B&Q I used at all but I have heard from other people on this forum that it can take longer than 3 weeks.

This was at the end of March btw.

b&q stock checking

Got mine from b&q oxford on Sunday. I rang first and was told they had none but as we were passing anyway we went in and there were 4 on the shelf. Makes me wonder if there stock systems are accurate or if the guy answering the phone couldn't be bothered to check properly.

I will do, though I wont be able to compare them to the ones in b&q as I have never used them x

I have the ebay ones they are fabulous!
