I'm thinking of investing, as my room is an odd shape so I cannot be a bigger cage than I have all ready got as it would be rectangular, which just would not fit, where as if I got a c&c cage then I could make what ever shape I want and 2 stories if I like too. But I have a few questions as my grandma is not an animal person, she says what the pigs have is adequate and that is all they need.

So, with the c&c cages, does the floor come with them? also, how do you fit them together? and if your going to make a 2 story one do you have to make your own ramp? and if so how have you guys done that?

The floor doesn't come with them, you make it yourself, very easy out of correx, which is used to make signs etc. They fit together with connectors, but you can also use cable ties so very easy. You would have to make your own ramp. Again, you don't have to be blessed with amazing DIY skills. Yoy can either use the finer mesh pannels and shape them, or you could make a wooden one. There are lots of ways of making ramps as I'm sure others will tell you. I've not made ramps because although my c&c is multi storied, it's used as seperate cages. Hope that helps.

Where do you get correx from and where do you get c&c cages from? Haha, I'm not particularly good at DIY but my Mum is amazing at it :) so sure she would help. Also, is it possible if the bottom is not connect to the top to use shavings or would they just end up on my floor? I don't particularly like shavings, but I have tried fleeces, my grandma just won't have them go through to wash and they didn't hand wash very well, I have tried newspaper but my grandma says I would have to clean them out like twice a day and I am too busy for that. So any other suggestions on what I could keep them on too?

I don't ask much do I? haha :))

C&C are great.

Have a good read up about what materials to buy. Measure up. Design. And make. :))

There is a lot of info, so I will link some to get you started.

Wigan B&Q lists low stock

http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav.j...ubes&fh_eds=ß&fh_refview=search&isSearch=true

If they dont have any in your local B&Q you can take in the item number and order them. A box has I think 23 grids and conectors in.

You could get correx from any local sign makers, or here http://www.teacratepackaging.co.uk/correx-board-p-88.html

Other people have got their correx from other places and even some for free when companies have taken down dis-used signs.

Thank you for those links, though they have made me very impatient, and I might have to buy it all on the sly. Haha, but I really want it nooow :)
