snowy/twinkle

Hi have been a regular on this site for the last couple of weeks (i now need my daily fix lol). Most of the regulars seem to use C&C cage could someone explain what these are and how to kit them out. At the mo i have a large two tier rabbit hutch which have taken the ramp out of and covered the hole with a piece of wood flooring. The 2 adult boars live downstairs and the 2 sows and 4 babies live upstairs it is fine for now cos the babies a still small but as they grow they will need more space. We were going to buy another 2 tier hutch but they are £100, the C&C cages seem quite reasonable. One more question how are the piggies housed I have 2 pairs and i dont want seperate them and from what i can see in the pics the sections only look big enough for one pig.

sorry the post is so long

There is lots of info about C & C here

http://www.guineapigcages.com/

And lots of pics in the cage and hutch gallery. The grids are basically shelving units that clip together, making them very adaptable. Correx is a plastic used for sign making, it make a good base / sides to stop the litter being kicked out.

C&C cages are for indoor use, so if you are wanting to keep your guineas outside they will not be suitable, but there are some really good offers on hutches at the moment online, you could get a really good one for £100.

Guineas should be kept in pairs (same sex) or groups (sows) for company
