I'm (hopefully) going to get things to build a C&C cage for my guinea pigs for Christmas, but I need to know some things:
1. What measurements? I am (Hopefully) going to build a 2x4. I heard there are specific measurements for the coroplast/correx and cubes, so I was wondering what I might need for a 2x4.
2. How to make a door. I have other pets, so I can't have an open-top. Is there a special latch or something I would need? Or should I just loosen the connectors? Please let me know.
3. I'm (Hopefully) going to order correx/coroplast from a sign shop. How big would the sheets need to be for a 2x4?
4. Are there any links or videos or anything that can really help me find out more on how to build a C&C cage? That would be helpful, but if not, I can find one.
Those are all of my questions. I asked my parents for materials to build a cage, and I am hoping to get them. The #1 thing on my Christmas List this year is to move my poor babies out of their under-sized store-bought cage into a spacious C&C cage. (If you read my thread, "Please help..." You might get a better idea about my cage situation.)
Any help is welcome, and thank you for all replies!

1, depending on the age of your pigs, and how many. Six inches of correx walls is average for non baby pigs. If you have two pigs, a two by four is ok. But the bigger the better.
2, YouTube videos show how to make a grid roof using the grids, they only need to be attached together by cable ties,
3, eBay sell big sheets of correx, if you search it up.
4, there are loads of videos on YouTube, and the cavy cages store show you a tutorial.
