I want to get a 2x5 C&C cage with a 2x2 loft, pink correx. No cover, no bottom storage. Is there anywhere that sells this as a full set (not having to buy an extra ramp, correx etc)? I've looked on Guinea Pig Cages store, but they don't ship to uk!

I can't see anywhere that sells it as a set . On E bay you can buy the cubes to build a c and c. (Actually works out cheaper buying a set if cubes as opposed to buying a "cage" ) I got my set of 30 grids for £35 image.webpThis was enough to build a 2x4 and I had 10 grids left. You can get corex on e bay too. Might have to pay more for pink though. Hope this helps.

Thanks.
I haven't actually found any correx in one sheet on ebay, have you seen any?

Hmm don't know If there will be enough grids for the loft extension. But if you buy a "complete cage" it works out dearer. There are a lot of videos that tell you how to build them on youtube.

I was thinking of buying this, but the little devils don't give the a ramp and correx. Correx is the main problem for me.

I can't see the pic. but can u not buy ramps already made. Also some people use cat scratching boards(the long flat ones) as a ramp.

I can't work out if 2x4 with a 2x2 loft would 'look' big for two pigs?
Either that or the 2x5. I have them in a nice hutch at the moment, but I have a single bed in my room, which the cage could go on, and I'd sleep in the spare double bed. Haven't actually asked my mum if I can have a c&c cage yet!

Yes.
So, I can either buy the cube storage set you showed. Thus meaning I have to buy some correx (from amazon), and a ramp off amazon too. Not to bad overall then!

Or, buy the set from ebay I showed, which works out more expensive, and still need to buy a ramp and correx. I think I'll go ahead with your idea, it seems the cheapest solution!

I think you will struggle with pink corex. Can you not just get a colour like white (easily available) and use pink accessories in your cage? I have white corex and u don't really notice it as my fleeces r brightly coloured. image.webp

You're right, I cannot find any pink. I will settle for blue or white!

That's my 4x2 ontop of a "rabbit 100" to give you an idea of size.

Thank you, if I had a 2x4, I think I'd add a loft. It looks big, though.

I'm going to have a 2x5, no loft, no ramp (well I won't need one unless it's going to space! lol)
From Ebay, make it from scratch, seems cheaper.

Ooh a space ramp. Lol.

Good luck. And remember to check the sizes of the holes in the grid Aren't too big. Also don't forget your cable ties. Lol.

Will have to ask my mum when she get's back from work, I think she'll say no. :(

I would try and get as few joins as possible. Also do u have any sign writers near u? They may sell corex in a bigger sheet to you. Also read the c and c cages sticky it's good information.

I'm not sure about sign writers near me.

I got 3 sheets of correx 1.2m x 2.4m from thealuminiumshop on ebay for £19.99 inc postage. They do black or white. That might work out cheaper for you. They also sell single sheets.
You must've ordered the 2mm in depth, is this thick enough?

Hi yes it is the 2mm thickness. I haven't built the cage yet but it looks sturdy enough at that thickness and there are a good few other threads on here where people say they use 2mm thickness with no problems at all.

I think the ebay one you posted will be the one we choose, we don't have an ebay account, but my mum'll save herself quite a lot of money. Ones that are 2m in length on amazon are around £40 or more.
