C&C Cage... What do I do?

My mother decided to build me a C&C Cage after my room is done (getting refurbished because it's hard to keep them with carpet) and as soon as I get the wooden floor mum was going to make it. What measurements would I need for two boars?

2 grids by 4 grids is the minimum size, but the bigger the better.

The wonderful thing about c&c is that you can make them any shape to fit.
L shaped, 3 grids by 3 grids etc.

Because I don't want my dogs to, (if my dogs manage to come upstairs) have an easy meal...

If you are worried about your dog, maybe you could put a lock on your door or you could make a roof your you c&c cage out of spare grids. The type of roof that lifts up and stuff. Not very helpful, I know but I hope it gave you a few ideas.

Hi, I own two dogs and two piggies. Plus a hamster and two chickens!
When I built my C&C cage last weekend, I made it a 4x2 with a 2x1 loft, so it's the equivalent space to a 5x2. It was the biggest I could make to fit, but it is plenty of space for my two, especially as they get floor time regularly as well. All I did, as my cage is sat on two fairly high benches, is I made a roof for half of the cage. I'll see if I can add some photos of it later.

You can make lids from closet shelvings. Use the 16 inch wide shelves so it hangs a little over the side of the grids. Use lots of zip ties.

I love those lids, not sure if we can get them in the UK though? rolleyes

If you make lids from grids, you can overlap them so they are stronger.

Thanks for that, I don't have any other pets except the pigglies, it's just that I am worried one might try a "Great Escape" whilst I'm at work lol!

Those shelves look really neat though. At the moment I have fashioned a lid from grids like that pic but it doesn't look as nice
