C&c cage size

Is a 4 by 2 c&c cage big enough for 2 male guinea pigs ? They normally go in a run for three to four hours a day ?

Yes. A 2x4 should be enough if they get along. A 2x5 is better if you have the space.

Thanks, Thats all the space I have ! But they do have a large run. Should they be in there run longer ?
I have only had them 2 weeks, but they seem to get on

The worst time for boars to get on is 2-14 months. I have my boars in a 2x4 and havnt had any problems. However my two do have a hay loft, if you have the space and they havnt reached the hormone stage (2-14 months) yet, then maybe you could think about giving it 2 levels.

There 10 weeks. There currently in an outside hutch. I am just sorting out the bits I need to make my indoor cage. So maybe I could put in a second level. Thanks for your help

If you can manage it i would definatly add a second level. Better to be safe than sorry. Goodluck!
