When I introduce my two pairs of sows in the near future, I am hoping they will get along and am looking into getting a C&C cage for them as at the moment I have two in a hutch and the babies in a pet store cage (hopefully not for long). How many grids would I need for 4 pigs?

Also, I have two cats so was wondering if possible to make some sort of roof and if anyone else has managed to do this?

One last question, what sort of thing do most people put the cage on? Just the floor or maybe a table? I don't have LOADS of space but enough.
I think a while back I came to the conclusion I would need 38 grids in total. Thanks in advance.

You can put it on the floor, make grid stand or a table, or even a sturdy bed. But if you have it on the table check the table is big enough so the c&c doesn't overhang. For four girls you'd need a 2x6. But you could go even bigger if you like! :D
You can make a c&c roof by connecting the grids with cable ties like this:

How do you make a lid using cubes for my c&c cage?

Aha! Thanks for the info, pic and link! I will have to do some thinking (and spending) on this!
