i have a C&C cage at the moment but i want to make a 2nd floor as a hay loft because hay on the fleece is really messy and difficult to clean off every day. anyone got any ideas of what i can make a ramp out of? relatively cheap and easy to make or any suggestions for what i can buy?

I'm planning to add a hayloft to my C&C and this is what I'm going to use. It's 17 cm wide and 70 cm long so a perfect size. It has a hole at the top where you can secure it to the grids with a cable tie

thanks, that looks like just what i need :) had looked at cat scratching posts in pet shops and they didn't seem long enough because didn't really fancy attaching 2 together 'cos to me it doesn't feel safe? maybe that's just me! haha

That's exactly what I was using when I had a loft and it worked a treat. I got the guys at work to drill another two holes in the top so I could cable tie it to the loft and make it a bit more secure.
