I built my C&C cage in January/February time and I had made a ramp for the piggy's second level. I made the second level quite low so that the ramp wouldn't be so steep, but the piggy's are scared to go up. I'm planning on either making a new ramp and making it longer so that it is more of a gradual incline or buying one online.
It's not the fact that they are scared when they are on the top level, but the ramp is too small. Puzzle is always jumping onto the log houses so I wouldn't be worried that she was scared of the height.
Has anybody made their own ramps for their piggy cages, or bought them and if so where?
Thanks :)

i used a ramp like this

http://www.thecatpetshop.com/furniture-saver-cat-scratching-mat-board-tr4327.html

it's a cat scratching post so has great grip ! this isn't the exact one i bought i don't think, but mine had a wooden tip at each edge with a whole in, i just drilled in 2 more holes and cable tied to my grids.

My pigs took a little while to get used to it but they run up and down it like crazy now !

Wow that is much cheaper than the ones I've seen elsewhere. It doesn't seem to say how long it is though - I'll have to contact the shop. :)

I just bent 2 c and c cage panels into an 'you' shape (won't let me type the letter :S), cable tied together and covered the floor with a cut up carpet tile, also cable tied on

It's surprisingly easy to bend those panels, they're not as sturdy as they look!

This is what I did too, except I added a "*" shaped piece of corex and then stuck carpet tiles onto that - it meant the piggies had a rail on either side of the ramp, it works really well.
