I have a 2x6 C&C cage

I was thinking should I buy a fleece liner that's 2x3 and then leave the remaining space with sawdust, would they more likely do their business there? Or should I just go for the 2x6 lining?

Of course I'll spot clean as well

Also!
Where would you recommend I buy my liners
I was looking at buying them here

Any feedback would be great!

some people find it easier in large cages to get smaller liners and then where ever the piggies pee that half can get washed more often without taking up too much space in the wash. so maybe go for a 4x2 and a 2x2 combo and whichever side they pee in most put the 2x2.

I use fleece and at one end i have litter trays containing newspaper then finacard then their hay.I peg a fleece over the cage above the litter trays and this encourages them to use them.I then have towels and fleece under their hideys as they do odd wees and poos there. This means i can change the smaller towel and fleece every couple of days and the big fleece only needs changing once a week.I have incontinence pads under the main fleece which get changed every week if wet

Try buying a 2 x 6 lining then spot clean the fleece as much as you can. Wash the fleece every week to keep it clean. Most guinea pigs poo in corners so try buying 4 corner litter trays weekly. Attatch a hay rack above one litter tray.Put tumblefresh bedding in the litter trays. I recommened tumblefresh because it is very absorbant and when the litter tray is full with wees and poos the litter trays and bedding won't stink. Also tumblefrsh is very cheap. Do not use sawdust or wood shavings because they are rough, hurt the guinea pigs feet and they absorb the guinea pigs wee but do not give it a chance to evaporate. Hope this is helpful!
