I want to make a c&c cage, I've already got the grids. But I'm having trouble with the correx. I can't seem to find any and at a reasonable price.
I was wondering if anyone has any ideas of what I could use instead of it. - I need something fairly cheap. And easily portable... Can anyone help me?!

B&Q sell a similar sheet called Corotherm but it's only in 2 sizes 1220mm x 1220mm x 4mm @ £14.78 or 1220mm x 610mm x 4mm @ £8.98.

I bought the corotherm from B&Q, you can get a few better prices and sizes online I'm sure. If you're having your cage on the ground or on a table, just use a shower curtain. I had no choice but to use corotherm as my cage has storage underneath. I've seen people use wooden sheets before too but I'm not sure what type and also it would probably cost more anyway. Good luck whatever you choose! x

I had mine from Just add pets (kim on here) they have a facebook page. The correx is pre cut to size and scored so you only have to fold the sides up. You'll pay a bit more but for the convenience and quality its worth it in my opinion. They also do loads of fleece accessories.

I’ve bought both from B&Q and Teacrate packaging. B&Q was more expensive, and slightly smaller but the Teacrate was thinner and i had to pay postage. All in all i’d probably buy from Teacrate just as you get more for your money. I bought two sheets and it did my 2x4 with 1x2 loft, doubled up for added strength, think it came to about £14 delivered ?

In the past I just had a ground sheet like someone mentioned. Now I use the b&q corotherm which is a nice thickness, but the sheets are not very big so if your cage is big it will add up quite a bit. I've seen linoleum being used before. Suppose you could get that fairly cheap per square meter if you buy a non fashionable colour or discounted one.

I used the tea crate stuff and only used one layer. I added plastic edging to prevent chewingfrom b&q. It has lasted 5 years. Yhinking if replacing mow but only so I can builg a bigger cage

I got 3 sheets off ebay and they work well as a floor with newspaper on top. I feed them in their litter trays and they only wee in the trays (bless them).
