C&c Cage Grid Help?

Ok, I'm looking at buying this shoe rack from amazon.


Would these work as grids for a c&c cage? I worked out I need 31 grids. I THINK (please correct me if wrong) this would give me 48 individual grids if they weren't in cubes. Am I right? And would they just come as flat grids so I could use around a c&c cage. PLEASE HELP HA HA. I might have been staring at it too long so my maths will have gone wrong, do you think this is do able?

I don't know if they would be any use for the full cage as the guinea pigs wouldn't be able to see out. I have however seen people using a combination of those and the wire grids. Hope someone can answer your question for you.

I'm wanting a 4x2 with a 1x2 loft, I've worked out I need 31 grids to have the ramp,them not jump out, my dog not get in etc.

Yes. Like this ( if this is 4x2 and 1x2 which I think it is) but covered

You'll need to buy two packs of the grids, because you're having a cover. 31 won't get all the cover done.
