Woohoo, i love it and so do my girls, i certainly think it's a fitting palace for my girls.

It took two and a half hours to complete the change- not including the preparation i did the night before but it was well worth it.

So this is the before picture- was a nice setup but getting a bit tight for my two growing girlys:

And now... The Grand Palace of Pop n Pebs....

The sticking out bit at the front is their bedroom- and has a towel draping over the front for added privacy :(|)

There is a covered area at the back left-hand side for shade as that room gets alot of sunlight, and also a covered area at the front right-hand side which covers their wooden house for added privacy and shade.

More pictures with added piggies:

And here is a picture of their indoor run area attached to the cage:

One of the front cube panels is attached by cable ties at one side and Velcroed on the other side so it's an opening door for the pigs to get out to the indoor run area.

Thanks for looking and hope you like the new design- and i hope others can take inspiration from it too :)

It looks great :) they must be so happy! I love the way you covered bits with blankets too for shade, they'd like that. :)

Thanks everyone :)

I had a few sheltered areas in their old cage and that's where they spent their time snoozing and chilling out, maybe it helps them to feel safer?!

I was also concerned about the direct sunlight in that room so wanted to make sure there were plenty of covered up places- in the old cage the upper floor provided cover but obviously i don't have that anymore, so had to improvise with left over fleece :)

I could hear them enjoying their cage last night- i think they spent all night zooming around it.

I have to agree with you skrikopanik, i do think large flat areas are preferred- i suppose that's what they would have in the wild isn't it- just without doggy print fleece hehe :(|)!
