Hello :)

If I were to build two C&C cages that were joined but seperated down the middle using the mesh panels rather than the grid ones, with boys on one side and girls on the other, would this be too close? Would it make the boys more likely to fight because of the smell from the girls?

Thanks in advance! :)p

Sadly, you can see through the mesh and they will be able to interact, so NOT good. you need to have something to block the view completely - and best something they can't chew!

However, when the boys can't see the girls, that is always a lot better.
Girl scent is a catalyst and can trigger a break up with boys.

There are quite a few boy pairs that are perfectly happy to be close to girls; but they always need to be at least out of sight.

Would you be able to fix pieces of correx either side of the grids so they can't see each other, maybe you could use cable ties to fix it to the grid?

Would it cause a problem if the set up was 2 girls with 1 neutered boy on each side of the barrier?
