The correx arrived today, but the boys have been running around in my 'grids' all day anyways and been LOVING it! It is a bit wobbly at the moment as the correx isn't there to stabilise the 'grids'.

It's 32.3inches wide x 48.4inches long so 2.6ft x 4ft.

It's in it's early stages and there will be another level added onto it :)

All in all it cost me: £13.70 for the 'grids' (they're baking trays from ASDA!) and £12.71 for the correx :)

The 'grids' I have, have worked out perfectly, they are a lot wider than the usual grids you see hanging about and yes they don't come with plastic bits to attach them together, BUT cable ties work perfectly :)

Once I have sorted to correx out tomorrow I will throw some more pics up of a more stable and solid set up :))

Could you tell me where you got your correx? I need some more for a bigger cage (! lol) and can't find it at my usual supplier. All the sources I have found are a lot more expensive than yours seems to be.
Many thanks

I managed to wangle some from my Travis & Perkins which is literally a 5 minute walk - they had some spare so I haggled with them and used my womanly charms :))

So I didn't finish it when I said I would as William got very poorly and passed away.

Anyways today I didn't think it fair that the twins didn't get this, just because I was upset. Plus it took my mind off everything. Here it is:

It's only one floor as during the summer it is going to be kept as an indoor pen for rainy days/when I am at work. But it's done! Piggies aren't in it due to being out in the garden on this lovely day. Will get pigtures of piggies in it later :)

It's 2ft2'' x 4ft and it's comprised of 10 baking trays from ASDA at £1.30 something each! And cheap correx. The fleeces are temporary ones which are doggy fleeces from Poundland which were £1! They fit just over half the area, so two ARE needed, but it's cheap.

I will be getting cage fleecy liners when I've got more monies.
