Buzz and Fuzz,are they Rex or Teddy or a bit of both?

Buzz is the smoother coat,botties on show lots of curls on Fuzz.Any thoughts please...

They are both gorgeous Sallym. :smitten: They look to me to be a mix, not to sure of what. A teddy or a rex have short springy hair not wavy. A little like a bog brush as some people call them. I have 6 teddies, will try to put some pictures no here for you to see what I mean.

I dont think this one is either... but I could be wrong...

My teddy, Wilson has sort of spikey hair when he was younger it was almost wirey... here is a pic of Wilson so you can se his hair

The first pic doesnt look like it has any rex or teddy (dont know if its just the pic) the other one looks like a rex crossed with a few other things! ;D Gorgeous nevertheless!

Buzz looks like a sheltie cross. Fuzz I have no idea. Maybe the hair is going to grow and he's more Texel, but maybe he stays shorthaired and then I would go for rex. Bit hard to say when their so young.

BUT what Nessie does know is that she likes them very much, they're sooo cuuuutttteee :smitten:

I posted a similar question about my Molly and Rosie a while back. Someone told me if you brush their hair forward and it makes a little peak over their eyes like a cap then they're teddies, the Rex's hair won't do it. (Yours looks ever so curly though, maybe a bit of something else too? Texel?)

Thankyou all they are abso beautiful and was just curious to their breed.Cheryl has seen them and agrees that Fuzz is prob Teddy mix,and Buzz Sheltie mix,anyway now need to concentrate on taming them...
