We read in a couple of newspaper articles recently that vets mark up prices and that it’s best to buy online so we were wondering if anyone could advise where best to get medication from? This is Bianca’s 5th bottle!

Bianca’s situation for context: Inoperable tumour

We used to buy 100g bottle Metacam online for Hamish- it was cheaper.
You will need a written/emailed prescription from your vet. They will have a fee for the written prescription, so it’s worth finding out how much they charge and adding it all up including the delivery fee.
There are quite a few online animal pharmacies you can use.

I've just bought metacam online for Ziggy. It was £17 plus postage for 100ml dog metacam. Kim at the Cat and rabbit charged £35 for a prescription for two 100ml bottles. This was miles cheaper than from the vets.
