Buying Hutches Online

Hi, I'm having trouble finding a cheap small, triangular hutch, cage thing for my guinea pigs. I am looking for a new one to buy online preferably free postage (to Australia). Does anyone know a good website that you would recommend, and also if anyone wants to mention some that should be avoided, thanks.

I'm sorry, I'm not too sure. My husband made ours quite cheaply and easily using some wood and wire mesh bought from a local DIY store.

Perhaps some of our other members have some ideas for websites...

I've visited Australia a few times and have been to Bunnings! We've got B&Q here in the UK which is very similar

Well I'm from OZ and yes Bunnings has them here in Brissie but not cheap. Because they are a heavy item I doubt you will find anything online with free postage unless you can pick up a 2nd hand one from Guntree, Trading Post, etc.

ebay.com.au & mammothpetsupplies.com.au have these. Again not cheap and no free postage.

I'm an hour away from Brisbane, your right, Bunnings isn't cheap but I'll try looking on Gumtree again.

Oh yes, they often have good bargains on that site. Even with the postage to southeast QLD this is the cheapest one I've seen online that is also brand new. At one point I was looking for these myself to put them out on the lawn for a little grass chewing. Instead I settled on one of those fabric folding ones as being bigger and cheaper.
