Butterhead lettuce

Hello everyone I’m just wondering if anyone has given this to their piggies and has it any nutritional value ?

I think this is otherwise known as a good old bog standard round lettuce, which is absolutely fine for piggies. It's the iceberg lettuce you need to be wary of and not feed to piggies.

Thank you ….. I did wonder …. yes I avoid iceberg lettuce I don’t like it either !

I don't think it has a great nutritional value, however piggies seem to love it.

I feed it to mine. Most lettuces are low in nutrients as they are mostly water

You skipped the bit where it’s twice the price It’s a round lettuce that has slightly crimped edges. Withdraw standard. Charge double. Seems legit

It’s 55p at Tesco and is a good size - plenty for me and the boys
It does appear to be different to the round lettuce

I used to get the round lettice at Tesco, that has recently been replaced with the butterhead in the OP. However, my boys prefer a bag of mixed leaves , romaine or sweet gem.. fussy bleeders!

Mine are the same, they had a bit but much prefer romaine/little gem lettuce.
