Or so he’d have you believe, anyway! Sprout’s discovered that tipping his food bowls onto each produces a delightful noise, which in turn causes him to start complaining about the lack of food. I swear he’s even started sassing me.

Oh, that he certainly is. In the mornings he’ll hop on top of his hide and wait for me to come out of the bedroom. Or be at the front of the cage staring at me and gnashing his teeth in disgust at the fact there’s no food in his bowls.
