Hi... I attached a photo below. They had squishy poo a couple weeks ago... now better and I clean a lot fleece cage. But my Truffles feet look like this now... both front paws. Plus I can't get hardened poop off his nails. I tried soaking but he is really fussy! Is this normal? I'm waiting to see Vet

I agree it doesn't look like bumble foot (they do have very lumpy feet normally!) but you do need to get that crusty poop off. Pulling at it might be pulling his nails beneath. If you can't get him to sit with his foot in a little pot you could try a high-sided bowl with a little warm water. When I had to wash my girl with a bladder infection (staining on the tummy from pee leaking) we used a washing-up bowl with just a few cm of warm water in so that she was standing in it with all 4 feet. Watch out because he might try to jump out if he doesn't trust it! If you can persuade him to sit there long enough the poop will hopefully soften and crumble away. Whether it works of not make sure his tummy is as dry as possible before you put him back onto some warm fleece to dry off.

If it doesn't work you'll need advice from a vet!

When I had to treat Patsy for bumblefoot I kept her still in her salt baths with some Recovery food in a little bowl which she licked up.

Not sure if it's just the photo but are 2 claws being pushed apart by long nails? Might help to trim them? I struggle with black nails and worrying about cutting the quick and causing pain, plus managing wriggling, so I just take the very tip off some nails, little and often.
