I think my Guinea pig has bumble foot. She had a blister on her foot and it's red. She is still able to run and walk around just fine but I am still very worried. Is epsom salt enough to cure it? Anyone got any advice ?
Bumblefoot is red and open sores.
if you suspect bumblefoot, or there is any wound on your piggy, then please see a vet. Your piggy will need a correct diagnosis and treatment plan
A vet visit is needed for proper diagnosis and advice on how to clear it. If it is bumblefoot then she will likely need some sort of painkiller as it will be very painful.
I am very sorry, but you will need to see a vet. We cannot comment sight unseen just based on your own interpretation or guesswork. Please do not home treat on spec.
