hmmm i don't know much about sows but all i can suggest is get the picked on piggy a friend if you have 2 you have best friends but three and there is bound to be an odd one out, thats not to say people don't have 3 sows that are friends but it sounds like you need another in the same cage or split and have pairs;)

i know i was worried about get the two of them anyway and putting them with sophie because they had been split up for a week but the breeder said it was fine i am saving for a hutch for them teh one on pets@home so once i get that i will get her a friend at the moment i just cant afford it.

You'll find that three's a crowd! It's not rare for the two stronger to bully the weakest - group dynamics at work!

You can either take Seren out and try to find her a new companion (motherly girl, if you can find one, or a neutered boy), or try to introduce a neutered boar to the whole lot to help keeping the peace. There is still a good chance that you might have to split them up in the end, but cross gender bondings are very stable, and Seren would get all the appreciation and none of the bullying, if you had her with a neutered boy.

For finding rescues and piggies, have a look at this website which this forum is connected to. It is also always worth to contact a rescue to see what they have got - they may have more piggies in than on the website. Where about are you?

Our posts have crossed - can you keep Seren in an extra cage next door, so she still has the company, but not the bullying?

Hi i have a cage but i wont be able to put it next to the other girls as i dont have the room x

Hi

Try and put Seren in the cage. If she is still too upset about being alone after a day, you'll have to put her back and bear it (unless there is bloody scratches or ears torn off).

Look on that website for a rescue near you. If you want to go for a boy, it takes about six weeks wait after an op; so you want to take that into consideration. Some rescues won't do an operation unless they knew where a boy was going. You also would like to know how much it'll cost, so you can budget for that, too. Prices vary a lot. Best chat to one or two resuces to get a clearer picture of what is availabe or possible.
