Ben is bullying bill i think when ever they are near each other they can be fine. Ben will just randomly bite bill hard enough to get a squeal from bill. Normally gizmo is present to 'split them up' bill is bigger than ben and at the minute both are putting on winter weight and behaving fine. When is enough enough? No blood is being drawn only a cry of pain

Is he maybe grooming him? If your saying they can be fine together. Apart from biting is he showing any other behaviour of dominance? Is bill showing any signs of distress?

Ben is being quite dominant Rumblestrutting around the cage but other than avoiding ben, bill seems fine

I keep an eye on it but so far sounds like normal dominance behaviour. With boars I find that this can be on and off their whole lives, every now and then 2 of mine have some teeth chattering.

Little things can set them off and then it blows over. I peronsally class bullying as not allowing them access to the food bowl, ever. Or chasing and drawing blood regularly.

It sounds like he is nipping because he wants to make sure Bill knows he's boss and Bills squeaking to say get away.
Definatley keep an eye on them. If things get worse such as fighting or Bill is depressed etc then you will need to seperate them. I'm saying that from personal experience, but just because my 2 boars ended up having to get seperated dosent mean its going to happen to your two. :)) Theres always going to be little scraps between piggies, even if they are the best of friends. :) My boys just crossed the line and poor Dexter ended up getting surgery :0 I would rather mine lived alone than one constantly getting picked on which is what happened to Dexter. Its not fair on the piggie and at the end of the day, the piggies happiness and health are the most important thing
